Daniel Sommer is an industrial designer, maker, and product manager. He has helped companies like Google, MakerBot and Motivate (CitiBike) design, manage, manufacture, and launch new hardware products. His experience ranges from 3D modeling fully manufacturable plastic claws for a popular Kickstarter bear costume, to 500lb steel components for the country's largest bike share system. He's passionate about bringing hardware projects to life.
Daniel has a BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in industrial design. His interests include road biking and coffee, but not at the same time.
